Marc Hubbard is currently in his sixth season as UNH men’s soccer head coach in 2020. His leadership has brought the program to new heights. The Wildcats have recorded 10+ win seasons each of his first five years at the helm which is the first time that has been done in program history. He also has brought the school its first two America East Tournament championships (2018 & 2019) and three straight NCAA Tournament appearances (2017, 2018 & 2019).
Hubbard has a 62-22-13 (.706) record over his first five seasons at UNH. The Wildcats have also made Durham one of the toughest places to play in the country as UNH is 29-1-4 (.912) all-time at Wildcat Stadium. The program’s national prominence is bringing fans to Durham. UNH ranked 13th in the nation in 2018 in total attendance with 16,568 fans over 11 home games, while the Wildcats were 15th in average attendance with 1,506 fans per game.
The UNH coaching staff led by Hubbard has been named the America East Staff of the Year (2017 & 2019), Northeast Region Staff of the Year (2019), Eastern Region Staff of the Year (2017), and Hubbard earned ECAC Coach of the Year honors (2019).
Hubbard, who is a Durham native, returned to the program following a seven-year head coaching stint at Southern New Hampshire University. Hubbard previously served as an assistant coach of the UNH men’s soccer team from 2003-2007.
